Kings Cross T2
Getjar’s work at Kings Cross T2 involved the construction of four linked blo9cks providing BREEAM Outstanding office accommodation for a high profile client.
When they are finished in early 2021, the buildings shall eb knows as 11-21 Canal Reach.
The buildings are post tensioned structures, with levels of transfer beams to allow the building to progressively step back the façade creating outdoor areas on numerous levels.
The structure consists of vast expanses of exposed concrete, the focal point of which will be the large central atriums with protruding balconies to form meetings rooms and free-standing lift shaft walls, braced with tensioned steel cables.
The building on plot T2 will be 12 storeys high at its highest point at the southern end of the site, stepping down to nine storeys towards the north.
There will be impressive roof terraces with views across the city.
