Health & Safety

Taking care of health and safety on our sites has always been paramount to us at Atlantic Contracts, and our proactive approach has consistently enables us to improve even before new legislation or advice is released. Entirely in-house, our health and safety department continues to invest heavily in training, new equipment and updated systems to ensure our practices always remain safety orientated. All of our projects have safety-coordinators on-site, leading to safe practice across our business which we actively encourage across the industry as a whole. In fact, we have such a positive relationship with industry supply leaders that our Group as a whole will pitch in and make suggestions on industry-wide products, in terms of health and safety. We are always careful to follow dust health and safety requirements for the duration of our projects too, with mandatory dust extractions and face fit dust masks utilised by Atlantic Contracts. Every member of our team has also been issues with health and safety CSCS cards, demonstrating that they have passed the CITB Health, Safety and Environment test within the last two years and can safely work on-site. Additionally, all supervisors are IOSH trained and, because of this, can identify and manage risks and hazards within the workplace.   We are also champions of mental health within the workplace, and as a family company committed to safety beyond our own employees, our caring, family ethos stretches out to the wider industry with which we are always sharing mental health awareness and practice.
