Chelsea Flower Show Charity Garden

What made this project even more special was the use of carbon neutral concrete, supporting the garden’s wider message around healthier environments and showcasing a more sustainable future for construction. The concrete was designed and produced by Tarmac using ACLA (biochar) for its carbon negative properties, oyster shells to reduce the demand on virgin aggregate and calcined clay to help achieve its carbon neutral status. Getjar manufactured all of the concrete elements in the garden, even the paving stones!
