Design & Development

Here at Atlantic Contracts we have a fully resourced Design Office that combines our wealth of joinery experience and technical knowledge to support our projects from inception through to completion. Our in-house design team have design management expertise to suit all project types, irrespective of the scale or size. We make use of a range of highly sophisticated design software to aid the design process. The wealth of tools at our disposal are used to assist our clients through the design development, value engineering, and construction processes to ensure the best possible understanding and coordination of designs. Design services we offer are: • CGI Visualisations. These create high quality, photo realistic visualisations of building projects. • 3D Rendering. This involves transforming a 3D model into a realistic 2D image. • CAD drawings. Computer-aided design is used to create accurate models. • BIM Models. Building Information Modelling enables efficient collaboration between architects, constructors, developers, manufacturers, contractors, and engineers when working on a building project.

Pre-contract Services

Here at Atlantic Contracts, we offer a full range of pre-contractual services which are vital to ensuring your project runs smoothly. This initial phase of the construction process aims to plan and coordinate how operations will run, who will be responsible for which aspects, and timeframes for different parts of the job. Our pre-contract services include bespoke programme advice, where our specialist joinery manufacturers and carpentry specialists will ensure all of your questions are answered before the project is underway. This is the perfect time to clarify any points of the contractual agreement between yourself and Atlantic Contracts, saving you time further down the line and ensuring the programme runs smoothly. Our bespoke advice can also direct clients towards alternative solutions to fit budgets where recommended. Additionally, pre-contract services involve making sure that all products specified within the project brief are compliant with regulations and product safety laws. Regulatory compliance is a crucial step for ensuring not only the health and safety of those on site and the client, but also for avoiding legal penalties further down the line. Bespoke Joinery

We offer a bespoke joinery service at Atlantic Contracts where individually crafted pieces are finished with creative, unique touches. From reception desks and bars to cabinetry and benching, our highly experienced design team are able to conceptualise designs which complement the environment for which they are intended. Our team works closely with clients to meet project specifications within budget through a meticulous value engineering process. Bespoke joinery is always of the utmost quality, while remaining within client budgets. Sustainability is also a priority through the design and manufacturing of bespoke joinery in light of our ambitious environmental sustainability targets.

BIM Modelling

Atlantic Contracts are able to offer our clients rendered models and full Building Information Modelling (BIM) coordinated services. We hold BIM 2 level accreditations, and we work in different files. We also work through DAS detection workshops in able to ensure the process works seamlessly. BIM Modelling offers a range of advantages for our clients, allowing a streamlined method of collaboration between designers, manufacturers, developers, and contractors, thereby improving efficient and communication throughout your project. BIM Modelling can also help speed along the construction process, highlighting hazards and potential issues before they arise. The management and planning of projects can also be greatly improved, ensuring the process runs as smoothly as possible from the very initial design stages and onwards into construction. Aftercare

At Atlantic Contracts, our great service and collaborative approach doesn’t end at project completion! After the practical completion of a project, we offer all of our valued clients an aftercare service, led by our dedicated aftercare manager. The aftercare period is designed to take care of any immediate issues you might face and to give time for any questions to arise. Our team will be on hand to help clients navigate through the post-development phase and assistance will be based on client requirements. Aftercare meetings can be held between our aftercare manager and users of the new development to explain and demonstrate operations and ensure safe and proper usage of the building. This gives clients the opportunity to experience practical demonstrations of the building and resolve any issues, should they appear

Fire Rated Doorsets

At Atlantic Contracts, we design and manufacture fire rated doorsets which meet both the aesthetic and technical needs of our clients. Working to individual specifications, our design of FIRAS accredited doorsets is always guided by quality and safety. The flexibility and creativity of our team means that we can assist clients with residential and commercial requests, so whether we’re asked to design a one-off heritage door or a set of modern doors for a commercial office block, we’ll do so to a high standard, aesthetically and functionally. We also provide many different types of doorsets, ranging from non-fire rated to FD120 fire doors, and can offer project specific, full desktop fire assessments for all of our doorsets. In line with our environmental sustainability policy and to support responsible forestry within the industry, we only use FSC accredited timber in our doorsets.

WC joinery at Atlantic Contracts is designed to meet the requirements of our clients, and we are able to offer coordination with other trades to ensure you get the highest quality and value results. With extensive experience in designing and manufacturing large scale commercial WC blocks, we are delighted to offer fully bespoke wall cabinets, units, showers and lockers to clients across the UK.
