The fleet of vehicles and plant available through Glencoe is constantly evolving, with a focus on maintaining the sustainability and eco-efficiency of our methods. We’re at the forefront of investment in the future of plant services, with a fleet of electrical vehicles currently in development. Plant Hire

With a wholly owned plant stock worth in-excess of £10 million, our in-house plant hire company, Glencoe Plant Services Limited plays a crucial role in facilitating Getjar’s versatile and responsive portfolio. Stocking all the necessary plant, tools and equipment to supply departments across our business, including our crucial temporary works requirements, Glencoe offers a full and comprehensive range of products and services. In order to maintain a safe and professional range of plant and equipment, Glencoe regularly replenishes and upgrades its stock and enforces a strict inspection programme on all plant and equipment, which includes checking, reporting, recording and repairing. Glencoe is fully focused on the sustainable development of its fleet of vehicles and leasable plant, actively investing in solutions that are focused on the environment. Permanent Works Design

Getjar’s Designers collaborate directly with our pre-construction and Operational teams, including our internal plant supplier Glencoe and our temporary works department, to provide a completely holistic solution to your next project. Getjar are able to carry out the reinforcement detailing to structural concrete elements for any build that we work on. We can also carry out the conversion from RC to PT, including the structural design and detailing of the Post-Tensioned building. By using industry leading design specialists, this conversion regularly delivers cost and sustainability savings. Because of our collaborative and co-operative company culture, we’re able to design permanent works with a holistic approach in mind, accurately costing and designing each project ‘first time, every time’. Some of the permanent work services we offer include: Piling. We can offer the best value for money on your design, combining our expertise in pile designs with knock on benefits of reduced RC foundation sizes RC Foundations. Through our experience in groundworks and reinforced frames, we can design economical foundations for your next project. Frames. Our RC and PT Frame designers can identify material savings within the frame which lead to cost savings, sustainability improvements as well a reduced deliveries and storage requirements on site. Pre Cast Concrete – We can undertake the design and detailing, including conversion from insitu, of pre-cast walls, columns, beams and stairs.
